MUSIC LIBRARY Music is really really important to me. I've been playing music since 6 years old, spent years in music schools, music high school, piano, guitar, choirs, theory, jazz bands, classical concertos, I did it all, loved it, hated it, loved it again; half my life is music. Now I'm pretty removed from the theoritical part of music, meaning I don't study or write it (besides playing the guitar as a hobby), but I dedicate a lot of my time finding new music from all over the world. There is so much treasure to be found in different countries and eras, just waiting to be discovered. And if you listen to enough of it, you'll start noticing the connections, the humanity, the evolution. I'm not sure how to describe it. I think Coogler showed it very beautifully in *that* scene in Sinners, for a week it made me cry just thinking about it; just how connected we all are through music, not just from place to place, but from time to time. I guess this is especially true for traditional music.

Of course, sometimes I will come across music I don't like, but I try to keep an open mind. However, if even the artist is not passionate about their craft, how am I supposed to appreciate it? On the other hand, music that doesn't take itself too seriously and is silly and light-hearted on purpose is also fine by me, there is still passion to be found there. It's the middle part that I hate, complete apathy and disregard for the listener and/or the art. For me, this is usually music made to appeal to the largest amount of people, to stroke the ego of the artist themselves, or to invoke a very specific emotion (I mean a song that is very clear on what it's trying to convey, that has a clear goal, that is not open to interpretation).

Anyway, be open-minded about music and you'll be rewarded. You gain nothing by denying yourself certain genres, all art is for everyone.

My Bandcamp Collection Albums I have bought on Bandcamp in chronological order (starting from most recent). Ever since I deleted Spotify I'm trying to buy one album every month, as a replacement for the money I'd spend on Spotify Premium. So now I don't have to give my money to its disgusting CEO, plus I'm supporting artists directly, it's a win-win. When deciding on what album to buy next, of course enjoyment is a big factor, but I also take into consideration: whether the artist is alive, whether they are currently active, how popular (or rather not popular) they are, and what I'm into at the moment in time. Right now I'm trying to exclusively buy albums from different countries, let's see how far that goes lol. Also, you can click on the title of the album to visit that album's Bandcamp page.

My Favourite Albums My favourite albums of all time. I think it'd be impossible for me to rank them, so they are in chronogical order, starting from most recent. I go through phases of different genres every couple of years, so I hope you'll find something that you'll like! Feel free to also ask me or give me any recommendations~
